Two-year-old Amelia-Rose Evans was born without part of her skull and has associated digestive issues from a rare condition known as Finlay-Marks syndrome.

Family friend Southern Cross Cruiser Club North West chapter group leader Mark “Shrek” Lightfoot heard the medical and living expenses were growing for Amelia-Rose’s parents Wendy and Will, so called on a band of motorcycling mates to arrange a tour of the region to raise money.

Riders travelled from Sydney, the Central Coast, Armidale and Newcastle as well as from around the region to lend assistance.

“We didn’t really have a target, but the money will go towards replacing helmets because she is growing and the doctors have started making Amelia wear helmets,” Mr Lightfootsaid.
